Here I started to repair the flexible PCB traces with copper tape. I did this for each contact on this connector. This connection was loose and caused the oil pressure and temperature gauges to read incorrectly. I added some foam double-sided tape behind the flexible PCB on each side of the connector to increase the contact force. The copper tape fixed some of the traces that were starting to lift and break. I also had to trim the housing itself, after I found using my spare dash harness connector that the connector couldn't properly seat in the housing.
