I was working on my Z24 this weekend trying to find out why the left rear speaker didn't work. I found the problem in a pinched wire, and fixed it. I also found something down inside the body between the trunk and the inner and outter quarter panel. I wasn't sure what it was since all I could see was a piece of grey plastic, but I did know it was loose. I thought it might be a trim piece or cap off of the convertible top mechanism, so I fished it out so I could try to put it back. Suprise! It's a Great Gazoo toy from Burger King! I assume the previous owner had a child that either dropped it down into the top well (doubt it, since there is a boot that protects the well) or it somehow slid in from the trunk side. Either way, that little guy has been riding with me for the entire time I've owned the car (1 year as of this writing). I put him on my desk at work.
